AMD today announced a three-year strategic agreement to supply Lucent Technologies with a significant portion of Lucent’s Flash memory device requirements. The Flash memory will be used in Lucent’s wireless, optical, and data networking products, systems and solutions.
Throughout our long standing relationship, AMD has demonstrated the quality and responsiveness Lucent values in a supplier, said Jose Mejia, vice president and chief supply officer at Lucent Technologies.
The financial ramifications of the deal have not as yet been disclosed.
