The Amadeus Data Processing GmbH & Co Beteiligungs-KG arm of Amadeus Global Travel Distribution in Munich has gone to Bolt, Beranek & Newman Inc’s BBN Communications for its X25 packet-switched network, which will initially connect travel agents in Belgium to the Amadeus air reservations system, and later bring on travel agents throughout Europe; BBN will provide the equipment and services in the initial $400,000 contract packet switches and assembler-disassemblers in Belgium, network management in Munich.
