Chase Technology Group, newly located in Twickenham, UK, has set up a joint venture with Year 2000 software re-engineering firm Alydaar Software Corp of Charlotte, North Carolina to form Alydaar Software Europe. Chase chairman Keith Shipton becomes chief executive of the new firm, which will used Alydaar’s SmartCode technology and work in conjunction with management consultancies, and has minimum revenue milestones of $25m for 1997 and $50m for 1998 set forth in the agreement.
