Westlake Village, California-based Always Technology Inc has a new half card, 16-bit SCSI host adaptor, the IN-2000, for high-end AT-alikes: it supports programmed input-output via a fast dual port RAM buffer that does not use the Direct Memory Access channel, thus avoiding a common bottleneck and the company claims that it is thus the fastest adaptor on the market.
