Altera Corp, the San Jose, California-based programmable logic device company, says the weak sales will affect its third quarter revenues, now likely to come in below expectations, although the firm’s fourth quarter still looks to be on track. Xylink Inc and LSI Logic Corp are also thought to be suffering from the current weak demand.
