By CBR Staff Writer

Alphameric Plc was celebrating a diversification into the gambling business on Friday – oh, all right Mr Hattersley, the City is nothing but a casino so they’ve been in it all along – with orders initially worth UKP3.8m from Coral Racing Ltd for display systems to put up racing information from the BBC Datacast service and the SIS satellite system in 800 UK betting shops; business to Alphameric’s Bishopgate arm could rise to UKP6m.
