By CBR Staff Writer

Alpha Software Corp has signed a co-label agreement with three computer retail chains – MicroAge, Inacomp Computer Centers and Computer Craft Inc – under which the outlets will put their names beside Alpha’s on the software sold to the public; Alpha claims that the agreement, which covers its Alpha/Three database manager, is the first such pact in the industry; the retailers will be offered greater profit margins for Alpha’s right to include their names.
