Alpha Microsystems Inc, Santa Ana, California, is setting up a Veterinary Systems Operation, its first vertical market initiative in the US, having acquired one of its dealers, CV Systems Inc, which pioneered the niche effort; Alpha Micro says that it will be moving the software to both its 80486-based Santa Cruz Unix systems as well as its single-user 80486 MS-DOS line.
