A modest profit on substantially lower sales compared with a loss last time of $1.2m is the out-turn expected by Alpha Microsystems Inc, Santa Ana, California for its fiscal second quarter to August 25 last: the company expects profits of $60,000 to $70,000 on turnover down about 13% to $11.5m to $12m.
