Still buying, Santa Ana, California-based Alpha Microsystems Inc has bought Alpha Computer Services Inc, a privately held dealer, in a deal worth about $1.5m subject to offsets: San Rafael-based Alpha Computer will be incorporated into Alpha Microsystems’ systems operations division and take the enlarged firm’s annualised revenues to about $2.0m; Alpha Computer had been a service-intensive Alpha Microsystems dealer for many years and its customers have traditionally been sub-dealers and end users.
