Alltel Corp, Little Rock, Arkinsas, will acquire a 5% stake in closely held Apex Global Information Services Inc, Dearborn, Michigan, for $12.5m with a right to buy an additional 5% of Apex, which provides point-of-presence Internet access for Internet service providers.
