Wireless service provider Alltel Wireless has implemented Oracle Retail Stores Solutions across all of its retail locations to support its consumer and commercial customer base in the US.
Oracle Retail software will help Alltel Wireless to improve store operations, tighten inventory control, simplify the purchase process, and enhance the customer experience, the company said.
In addition, the Oracle Retail Stores Solutions will streamline the payment process, reduce complexity for the sales team while the cash and inventory management tool will allow access real-time data, regarding store transactions improving store, merchandising and inventory decisions.
Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management will help the company to manage its retail and business accounts, warehouse stores and outside vendors, all while enabling accurate reporting based on inventory levels and sales.
Existing billing platform is integrated with Oracle Retail applications so that orders from resellers, call centres, and retail stores can be processed in the same format using consistent data and reporting functions.
Oracle Retail Point-of-Service and Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management will provide stock control and cash payment functions to inform merchandising and inventory decisions, eliminating the need to invest in a full merchandising system.
SkillNet, a systems integrator and Gold level member in Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) has partnered to implement the retail applications.
