By CBR Staff Writer

Allied Telesyn International Inc, Mountain View, California has a new family of twisted pair unmanaged workgroup hubs. The four members of the range comprise the eight-port AT-820TR; the 12-port AT-3012TR; the 16-port AT-3016TR; and the 24-port AT-3024. All come with an internal power supply and have AUI and BNC connectors for coax, twisted pair and fibre optic communications (with a transceiver), and both AUI and BNC ports can be used simultaneously, says Allied. Up to four hubs can be cascaded together to form a workgroup with up to 90 nodes. The line is shipping now and is under ú12 per port.
