Mountain View, California-headquartered Allied Telesyn International, formerly Allied Telesis Inc, has entered the Apple Computer Inc market with a series of transceivers to connect Macs into local area networks. Four products make up the range: the AT-MX60T for 10Base-T unshielded twisted pair connection; the AT-MX70 for 10Base-2 BNC connection; the AT-MX80F for FL/FOIRL fibre optic connection; and the AT-MX90F for FL/FOIRL fibre optic connection. According to the company, all the boards feature polarity protection and come with an 18 cable and 14-pin Apple Attachment Unit Interface for connecting Apple computers to Ethernet. The offerings are available now, but the company did not give any prices.
