Abingdon, Oxfordshire-based Allied Telesis Ltd has launched an Ethernet board for Toshiba’s 3100 laptop which links to the internal proprietary expansion bus: the board enables the Toshiba laptop to connect directly to Ethernet networks, with the choice of media option being made via an external button, eliminating the need to remove boards.
