Judge Thomas O’Neill has reaffirmed in Philadelphia an earlier ruling that Allen-Myland Inc, Broomhall, copied and distributed IBM mainframe system software in violation of US copyright laws, adding a finding that Allen-Myland owes IBM several million dollars in contractual fees. He asked a special master to recommend both injunctive relief and the level of monetary damages for copyright infringement and breach of contract that Allen-Myland has to pay to IBM.
