Alion Science and Technology, an employee-owned technology services company, has won a contract with a potential value of $391 million, to support the Naval Systems Engineering Directorate in providing technical and management services in all technical disciplines required to design and support the full spectrum of naval ship types.
The award, a cost-plus, fixed-fee delivery order under the NAVSEA SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) contract, has a duration of up to five years and extends Alion’s 35-plus years of support to the Naval Systems Engineering Directorate.
According to Alion, the delivery order has one base year, one option year and three one-year award terms.
Work will be performed primarily in the Washington DC area and will be supported by business units across Alion, as well as by a team of over 50 subcontractors including 32 small businesses.
