Microsoft Corp’s Windows NT has taken a further step towards full acceptance as a multimedia development platform, with the news that Alias/Wavefront, a Silicon Graphics Inc company, has partnered with eyeon Software of Toronto, Canada. The partners plan to develop Maya Fusion, a compositing and effects suite for Windows NT. Maya Fusion is slated for preview at the National Association of Broadcasters trade show in Las Vegas on April 19- 22, 1999.
