ALDUS TO RELEASE VERSION 3.0 OF PAGEMAKER FOR APPLE MACINTOSH AND MS-DOS MACHINES

Aldus Corp has acquired two new computer graphics programs and plans to release version 3.0 of PageMaker for the Apple Macintosh and for PC-DOS machines – and it has a Japanese Kanji version of PageMaker: the new products are the $495 FreeHand, a Macintosh drawing program developed by Altsys Corp, and SnapShot, also $495, an electronic photography program developed by BioScan Inc, Seattle for Microsoft Windows, the and they and the new releases of PageMaker – $795 under PC-DOS, $595 on the Mac, in-cludes support for Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printers, will be released early in the first quarter of 1988.
