Seattle Pagemaker developer Aldus Corp says it has it acquired a mul-tiuser database technology with desktop publishing and digital media applications for Macintosh personal computers from Provident Software Inc, but is not yet ready to announce it as a product. It said the mix-ed-media technology called Fetch enables users to catalogue, browse and retrieve digital media in standard Macintosh file formats.
