Alcatel-Lucent and Integ have entered into a new business partnership, extending the reach of Alcatel-Lucent’s carrier grade communications services to Integ’s customers across industries including mining, utilities, energy and government.
The partnership includes IP/MPLS and optical transmission offerings, and combine the capabilities of both partners’ integration services, tailoring based on project complexity and customer needs.
The company said that with this partnership it is adopting a new indirect model to serve these vertical markets in Australia, alongside its direct model and existing relationships. It is first for Integ to offer carrier grade networking services, building on its IT portfolio and integration services, as well as its existing business partnership with Alcatel Lucent in the enterprise voice and data space.
Cheryl Heaney, sales director at Alcatel-Lucent’s verticals activities in Australia said: “Integ’s strong relationships into key industry verticals in Australia will help us extend our reach to new customers and address their needs together.”
Integ and Alcatel-Lucent worked with Creator Tech, an external organisation, to assist in the development of a sustainable partnership, sound mutually agreed objectives and joint sales plans.
