Alcatel NV’s Alcatel Tesla joint venture with Tesla Liptovsky Hradok has won a contract for 250,000 lines a year of Alcatel 1000 S12 telephone exchanges for Czechoslovakia: the exchanges will be assembled in the country, necessitating an investment of $11m to equip.
