Alcatel NV has three contracts, totalling $21.4m, in Egypt: $16.4m is for two E10 digital telephone exchanges for Zagazig and Sidi Gabe in the Nile Delta; $2.4m is for upgrading the customs computer system in Cairo and Alexandria, and $2.6m is for equipping an automatic letter sorting centre in Cairo.
