Alcatel-Lucent to help partners capitalize on SME market in UK and Ireland

Alcatel-Lucent has announced a new strategy to provide its business partners in the UK and Ireland with specialized consultancy services offered by its small- to medium-sized enterprise sales support team.

By CBR Staff Writer

According to Alcatel-Lucent, its business partners will be assisted with small-to medium-sized enterprise (SME)-focused marketing campaigns and messaging guidance. New sales training will focus on the importance of end-user engagement, and on transformation of business processes rather than just providing technical solution details.

David Parker, vice president for enterprise activities in UK and Ireland at Alcatel-Lucent, said: We understand just how lucrative this market is. Our new SME strategy will help our partners grow by arming them with the tools they need to reach these new markets and increase sales, while giving us a chance to reward them for their efforts in proactively selling our solutions.
