The goal of this partnership is to allow interoperability between the world of radio and the world of mobile communication.
During the 3GSM World Congress, which will be held in Cannes from February 20th through the 23rd, 2001 visitors will be able to witness for the first time ever a radio program based on six chronicles freshly made each day by a special reporter from Diora. The program will be accessible from a mobile phone through WAP technology. By connecting to a dedicated site, the listener will then be able to access this service just by dialing into Dioras’ phone number with his handset, and will then be able to access the information he has pre-selected.
This brand new way of listening to the radio illustrates the evolution of the current GSM services to a 3rd generation Mobile Internet world of applications.
