ALBERTA GOVERNMENT TELEPHONES SELL MAJOR STAKE TO R BOSH GMBH

Alberta Government Telephones is planning to sell a 50% stake in its wholly-owned Calgary-based cellular telephones manufacturer Novatel Communications Inc to Robert Bosch GmbH of West Germany: press reports put a $96m price tag on the sale.
