The bank will replace the incumbent system with Midas to comply with western banking standards and provide security and integration capabilities that the bank hopes will allow it to develop its business rapidly across the local banking market.
Misys Midas has been linked to the bank’s own systems for Basel II compliance and MIS, as well as Euronet for ATMs. Raiffeisen Bank Albania is also looking to utilize the Midas program to support its planned extension of its branch network, with the aim of centralizing the bank’s back-office functions.
