Cap Gemini Sogeti SA has been signed by Dutch chemicals and pharmaceuticals company Akzo NV in Arnhem to become its preferred supplier of information systems services worldwide. The value of the deal was not disclosed, but Cap Gemini says the agreement is largely for the supply of services necessary to install software from SAP AG in Akzo’s 350 offices worldwide in collaboratin with Akzo’s Information Services group in Holland. The two will study how to combine some research and development.
