In the throes of a restructuring exercise, the Akhter Group Plc has announced the creation of a separate company, Microsales Distribution Ltd, to handle the company’s fast-expanding franchised product portfolio; although operational headquarters will continue to be maintained in Harlow, Microsales will develop a multi-site network of outlets, with a new purpose-built service and sales centre due to open in Burnley in January: new companies recently signed by Microsales include Citizen, Hyundai, Miracom, Accodata and Hitachi.
