AIS Expands Provider Desktop In Compliance With Minnesota Legislation

Supports the continued evolution of electronic payment/processing technologies and future adoption of paper claims processing

By CBR Staff Writer

Auto Injury Solutions (AIS), a provider of medical claim management tools for the auto insurance industry, has expanded its provider transaction portal – Provider Desktop, in compliance with new Minnesota legislation.

The expansion is expected to support the continued evolution of electronic payment/processing technologies and future adoption of paper claims processing.

The Provider Desktop features the online capability for medical providers to submit medical bills, as required under the Minnesota Health Care Administration Simplification Act. The development of Provider Desktop is in line with AIS’ pursuit to improve the way medical providers interact with auto insurance payers, said the company.

Initially developed in accordance with the New Jersey Auto Insurance Cost Reduction Act, Provider Desktop also serves as the platform for other auto insurance medical claim transactions.
