AIM IS SUBSUMED INTO DIRECT MARKETING ASSOCIATION

By CBR Staff Writer

The Association of Interactive Media (AIM) has been acquired by the veteran trade group, the Direct Marketing Association (DMA). AIM, which counts American Express, Bloomberg, IBM, Intel and Mindspring among its governing members, will continue to operate out of its Washington DC offices under president Andy Sernovitz, lobbying Congress on behalf of its members, mainly in the debates over control of the domain name system and internet taxation. AIM has about 250 members in all. https://www.interactivehq.com
