AGFA GEVAERT ANNOUNCES AGFA PRESS

Agfa Gevaert UK has launched Agfa Press, a turn-key publishing system for the production of corporate publications, which can accept input from any point in a local area network and can also perform both batch and interactive composition: the standard configuration for the system uses the Sun Microsystems 386i workstation under Unix, an Agfa image scanner and a 400 dot per inch PostScript printer; entry level cost is UKP20,000 and it will be sold in the UK direct by Agfa.
