Internet services firm Agency.com has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of common stock worth up to $75m. The number of shares to be sold and the offering price have yet to be determined, but all of the stock in the offering will be sold by the company. The offering will be handled by co-lead managers Goldman Sachs & Co and Salomon Smith Barney, with Hambrecht & Quist on board as co-manager.

The New York-based company was founded in 1995 and claims 3M Corp, British Airways Plc, Compaq Computer Corp and Texaco Inc as clients. It has 800 employees in offices across the US and in Amsterdam, London and Paris. It booked a net loss of $10.6m last year on revenue of $70.9m. The shares will eventually trade on the Nasdaq market under the ticker ACOM.
