After Silicon Valley, Silicon Glen, Silicon Gulch, Silicon Triangle, sand is mercifully just about played out as a high-tech adjective of place, and the New York Times has come up with a wonderful new one for the concentration of high-tech industries in Colorado: it refers to the vale between Denver and Boulder as Bucolic Valley.
