New York-based AFIC Technologies Inc claims its MSO Multi Server Option enables an unlimited number of users to access the same database from any server, in any location, at the same time. AFIC says that the Multi Server Option works on the SQL level rather than the data itself, and sends only the structured query language instructions to added or altered data, rather than entire blocks of data. Multi Server Option is up on Sun Microsystems Inc and Hewlett-Packard Co systems. No prices given.
