Global outsourcing services company Aegis has entered into an agreement with Y&R Inversiones Publicitarias, and its business partner to fully acquire their jointly held business process outsourcing (BPO) company, Actionline in Argentina.
Actionline has about 5,000 employees, spread across seven centres in five cities and is focused on the domestic market, serving the telecom, banking, insurance, and energy clients in the region.
Aegis said Actionline Argentina’s senior management, lead by CEO Fernando Padron, will continue to spearhead its business.
Aegis MD and global CEO Aparup Sengupta said Actionline fits beautifully into the company’s vision of tapping large domestic outsourcing market, and it brings with it a talented workforce, efficient knowledge base, and deep customer partnership.
