AEA Technology Plc, the acquisitive UK science and engineering software company, has agreed to buy EA Systems Inc, an Alameda, California company that provides software for the power generation industry. The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, is designed to strengthen AEA’s portfolio of applications for the power industry. AEA’s PASCE software has been used for more than ten years for plant design, engineering and plant lifecycle data management.
