By CBR Staff Writer

Private equity investor Advent International is plowing $25m of expansion capital into Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based international telecommunications outfit Long Distance International Inc. LDI wants to extend its existing telecom network by installing a further six digital DEX 600 switches in the US and London, and will establish DEX Worldlink international gateways in London and New York. The company has also acquired transatlantic, North Sea and European circuits and has said it will make further infrastructure investments before the end of next year.
