Cambridge, UK-based Advanced RISC Machines Ltd, maker of the ARM RISC family of processors, is expanding its worldwide operations into three new locations to support what it claims is a 75% compound annual growth rate. The new offices, in Maidenhead, UK, Austin, Texas and Seoul, Korea, will provide sales marketing and technical support for the company’s products, partners and applications. They will also offer consultancy services, maintenance and training. In addition, Austin and Maidenhead will also proved research and development facilities for key development projects. The company says the Seoul office will work closely with its Korean semiconductor partners including LG Semicon Co Ltd and Samsung Electronics Co, to provide local design services and support. The company is actively recruiting.
