Reporting from its Austin, Texas base, Advanced Micro Devices Inc says it has done a deal with Quarterdeck Corp under which companies manufacturing InterWave audio processor-based personal computer sound boards will be in a position to license and bundle a copy of Quarterdeck’s WebTalk speech communication tool for the Internet. The combination of WebTalk with the InterWave delivers full-duplex interactive telephony on the Internet.
