Advanced Micro Devices Inc confirmed yesterday that it is in talks with Intel Corp to end their seven-year legal battle over Advanced Micro’s rights to clone Intel microprocessors, noting that such talks have been urged strongly by the judge, US Federal Judge Patricia Trumbull who presides over two cases.
