No details, but Advanced Micro Devices Inc and Sony Corp have agreed a mutual second source arrangement on each other’s integrated circuits: the announcement was made at the opening of AMD’s Technology Center outside Tokyo, which will design and manufacture custom circuits for the Japanese market.
