Advanced Logic Research Inc, Irvine, California must cut costs after its first ever quarterly loss and will trim its worldwide workforce by 15% and imposing salary cuts for all employees getting over $50,000. Salary cuts range from 5% at the bottom end to 30% for the chief executive.
