Applied Data Research’s ADR Services Inc in Vienna, Virginia, has a $2.1m contract from the US Customs Service to provide database and systems support services at Customs computer sites, with options, if exercised, with an additional combined value of $4.3m: ADR Services has been working with Customs in its implementation of ADR’s Datacom/DB database management software since 1983, and the Service is now among the largest users of the product in terms of volume of data managed and the transaction rates.
