Automatic Data Processing (ADP) said that RUN is an online payroll system that enables accountants who process payroll for their small business clients to choose between performing tax filing and check printing themselves or having ADP take on those responsibilities on their behalf.
According to ADP, the RUN service enables accountants to view their entire small business client base with a single sign-on. Using an intuitive point-and-click menu, accountants are expected to calculate payroll gross-to-net, preview the results prior to processing, and offer online access to payroll information and direct deposit for their clients’ employees. When payroll is complete, accountants can choose to print paychecks at their office, have ADP print and deliver them on their behalf, or allow the client to print them directly.
