ADOBE SYSTEMS CUT AFTER Q2 REPORT, SHARES PLUNGE

Stock in Adobe Systems Inc was cut to neutral from outperform by Morgan Stanley and Co after Wednesday’s second-quarter earnings of $0.54 per share fell five cents short of analysts’ expectations. In response to the one-two punch the shares dropped $4.25, or more than 10.5%, on Thursday to close the day at $36.
