Adobe Systems Inc announced its senior vice president and chief operating officer, Stephen A, MacDonald, has resigned after 13 years with the firm in order to pursue personal interests. Last week, the company reported first quarter net profits down 6.9% at $33.7m, on turnover that rose 2.5% to $193.6m. Net per share was down 12.0% to $0.44.
