By CBR Staff Writer

Adobe Systems has released Adobe PhotoDeluxe 2.0 for Windows 95. Based on the company’s digital photo editing software, Photoshop, the product comes armed with more than 30 special effects like crackle, body switch, patchwork and glowing edges, and more than 50 template-based guided activities such as greeting cards, business cards, photo albums and T-shirt transfers. The product incorporates a number of additional technology features to help take the burden off the user. For example, technologies for the removal of unwanted elements; foolproof cutting and tracing; and one-step red-eye removal. In addition, Adobe PhotoDeluxe 2.0 integrates the Storm EasyPhoto Organiser for easy creation of personalized photo galleries to make it simple for users to store, organize and retrieve photos, claims the company.A program has also been set up that provides users with a free, new guided Activity every month via the Web. Called Adobe Connectables, it offers additonal features, such as templates and new ways to work with tools. PhotoDeluxe 2.0 is out now for $49. Registered users of PhotoDeluxe 1.0 can upgrade for #35. The Mac version is scheduled for release in December.
