Adobe will open a new data centre outside of London, England, to serve its Omniture business unit customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The new data centre will provide data processing, improved application usability and performance and expanded localised data storage capabilities.
The company said that the new data centre is being built out in a colocation facility and will house thousands of services and network devices and will be available to new Omniture business unit customers in the first quarter of 2011.
Existing customers will begin custom migrations to the new data centre in the second half of 2011.
Adobe Omniture business unit vice president and general manager Brad Rencher said the new data centre will serve their growing list of international customers and is aligned with their commitment to be compliant with changing privacy and data collection standards.
"Data collected on behalf of our European customers will be processed in Europe," Rencher said.
