The subscription-based application offers 20GB of space and the ability to store, share content across desktop, mobile devices and the cloud

By CBR Staff Writer

Adobe Systems has added its Photoshop Lightroom 4 software into Creative Cloud subscription service, enabling users to add the tool to their portfolio.

Lightroom is a digital photography workflow application that helps amateur and professional photographers to import, manage, enhance and showcase images.

Adobe Creative Cloud is a membership-based application centered around the company’s design, web, video and digital imaging tools. It is a hub for making, sharing and delivering creative work.

With a paid membership, Adobe Creative Cloud will provide customers with access to download and install any of the new Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications.

It also offers integration with Adobe Touch Apps that allow users to manipulate images on a variety of tablets and further refine on the desktop.

The subscription-based application offers 20GB of space and the ability to store, share content across desktop, mobile devices and the cloud. It utilises Digital Publishing Suite, Single Edition to deliver digital publications to the iPad.

Adobe Creative Cloud will enable its members to create websites without writing code using Adobe Muse software and the option to host, manage up to five sites using Adobe Business Catalyst.

Adobe Creative Media Solutions Products vice president Winston Hendrickson said the addition of Lightroom to Creative Cloud delivers Adobe innovation to Creative Cloud members.

"Over the next few months we’ll continue to add new products and services, keeping Creative Cloud members up to date with the latest advancements in Adobe software and services," Hendrickson said.
